OUR STORY
Huckleberry was started by a Mom in Portland, Oregon, who wanted a safe & sturdy bed for her wild child, son. Simple right? Well, not so easy to find.. That's when she discovered Lifetime Kidsrooms from Denmark, and realized that parents needed a better option in the US.
Through this journey, she researched further and was shocked to learn how many harmful chemicals and substances are found in our kids products, including beds, furniture and mattresses - and how these chemicals are linked to cancer and other illnesses.
After witnessing her own sister's battle with cancer, she decided Huckleberry's mission would be to create the best curated collection of organic and non-toxic kids furniture - from toddler to teen.
Now, Mom is passionate about designing kids rooms that are safe and sustainable for our kids, and our beautiful planet.
